The Woman In Between

A DOLLSFACE® reflection for women who have outgrown who they were but haven’t fully met who they are becoming. Because sometimes feeling lost is simply a sign that you are changing.

The Hidden Cost Of Self Abandonment

A DOLLSFACE® reflection on what happens when a woman slowly forgets herself, and the quiet journey of finding her way back.

Why Returning To Yourself Changes Everything

Why Returning To Yourself Changes Everything

For a long time, I thought transformation meant becoming someone new. Becoming stronger. More confident. More successful. More healed. But somewhere along the way, I realised the most beautiful changes weren’t happening because I was becoming more. They were happening because I was returning. Returning to myself. And perhaps that’s why everything changed. You Stop Looking Outside Yourself You realise you were never searching for more. You were searching for yourself. The confidence you wanted. The peace you longed for. The beauty you admired in others. It was never outside of you. It was simply waiting beneath the layers of who you thought you needed to be. Beauty Begins To Feel Different When you return to yourself, beauty stops becoming something you chase. It becomes something you feel. You stop looking in the mirror hoping to become someone else. You begin recognising the woman looking back. You care for yourself differently, not because you feel you have to, but because you finally believe you’re worth caring for. Perhaps That’s What Returning Really Means It isn’t about becoming perfect. It isn’t about becoming someone new. It’s about remembering. Remembering your worth. Remembering your intuition. Remembering the version of yourself that existed before fear, comparison and self-doubt convinced you she wasn’t enough. Perhaps that’s why everything changes. Because when you return to yourself… Everything else begins to return too.

What If You Are Already Enough?

What If You Are Already Enough?

WHAT IF NOTHING NEEDS FIXING? A DOLLSFACE® reflection on healing, self acceptance, and the possibility that perhaps you were never broken to begin with.  For a long time, I thought healing meant fixing myself. Becoming better. Becoming stronger. Becoming more. I thought peace lived somewhere ahead of me. Waiting for me to finally become enough. But somewhere along the way, I began to wonder. What if nothing needs fixing? What if I was never broken to begin with? And what if healing isn't about becoming someone new. But remembering who you were before the world convinced you otherwise. DOLLSFACE® 🤍 Perhaps You Were Never Broken So many women live as though they are projects. Always trying to improve. Always trying to become. Always believing happiness exists somewhere in the future. But perhaps the problem isn't that you're broken. Perhaps the problem is that you've spent too long believing that you are. And perhaps that's why rest feels uncomfortable. Why slowing down feels unfamiliar. Why peace can almost feel undeserved. Because you've spent years believing that you have to earn it. The Exhaustion Of Becoming More There is an exhaustion that comes from constantly trying to improve yourself. Another book. Another goal. Another version of yourself to become. And yet, despite all of it, many women still feel like they're not enough. Not because they lack anything. Because they have forgotten who they are beneath the pressure to become more. And perhaps healing begins when you stop asking, "How do I become better?" And start asking, "What have I forgotten?" You Don't Need To Earn Your Worth Worthiness isn't something you achieve. It isn't found in productivity. It isn't found in perfection. It isn't found in approval. You don't become worthy. You already are. And perhaps the greatest act of healing is allowing yourself to believe that. Not someday. Now. Maybe Healing Is Remembering Maybe healing isn't becoming someone else. Maybe it's returning. Returning to your voice. Returning to your dreams. Returning to your peace. Returning to the woman beneath everything life asked you to carry. Because perhaps she was never gone. Perhaps she has simply been waiting. Waiting for you to stop trying to fix her. And start loving her. What If You Are Already Enough? What if there is nothing wrong with you? What if you don't need to become more beautiful? More successful? More healed? What if you don't need permission? What if you don't need fixing? What if the woman you've been searching for all this time… Has been you all along? And perhaps that's where peace begins. Not in becoming. But in remembering. DOLLSFACE®

THE BEAUTY OF BECOMING UNKNOWN AGAIN

THE BEAUTY OF BECOMING UNKNOWN AGAIN

A DOLLSFACE® reflection on letting go of old identities and finding peace in no longer needing to be who you once were. There is something strange about outgrowing yourself. Not because you no longer recognise who you were. But because you no longer recognise who you are becoming either. You find yourself somewhere in between. No longer the woman you once were. Not yet the woman you are becoming. And for a while, that can feel uncomfortable. Lonely, even. But perhaps there is beauty in no longer having all the answers. Perhaps there is beauty in becoming unknown again. DOLLSFACE® Outgrowing Yourself Can Feel Disorientating Nobody really talks about the strange feeling that comes with growth. You begin to lose interest in things you once loved. Conversations feel different. Places feel different. People feel different. Even you feel different. And because nothing looks the same, it's easy to wonder if something is wrong. But perhaps nothing is wrong. Perhaps you are simply changing. You Don't Need To Rush To Define Yourself There is so much pressure to know exactly who you are. Exactly what you want. Exactly where you're going. But perhaps life isn't asking you to have all the answers. Perhaps life is asking you to trust. To be curious. To allow yourself to evolve. Without forcing certainty. Without rushing. Without needing to explain yourself. Because growth often feels unfamiliar before it feels natural. There Is Freedom In Starting Again There is freedom in no longer needing to maintain old versions of yourself. Old expectations. Old identities. Old stories. Old labels. Because perhaps becoming isn't about adding more. Perhaps it's about releasing what no longer fits. And allowing life to introduce you to yourself again. Not Everybody Will Understand Some people only knew the version of you that made sense to them. The version that stayed small. The version that remained familiar. And as you change, some relationships change too. Not because anybody is wrong. But because growth asks us to leave certain things behind. And perhaps not everybody is meant to understand the woman you are becoming. You Are Allowed To Become Someone New You are allowed to change your mind. You are allowed to evolve. You are allowed to become quieter. Softer. Stronger. Different. You are allowed to outgrow what no longer fits. Because perhaps the most beautiful transformations happen when you stop trying to hold on to who you used to be. And allow yourself to become unknown again. DOLLSFACE®
